Referral disclosure
We want to be straight with you about how RemitPath pays for itself, so you always know where our links lead and what we may earn. This page is the long version of the short notice you see in the bar at the top of every page.
How we make money
RemitPath is free to read. We don't charge you, and we don't sell your details. When a service we write about — most often a crypto exchange — runs a referral programme, we may use a referral link. If you choose to sign up through one of our links, the provider may pay the site owner a commission. Signing up through our link won't cost you more: you pay exactly the same fees and rates you would if you reached the provider directly. The commission comes from the provider's side, not from your pocket.
Where the link and code live
You will not find a referral code or a sign-up link on our homepage or inside our guides. We keep them in one place only: the outbound notice. We do it this way on purpose, so that before you leave RemitPath you can read a plain explanation, see exactly where the link points, and verify the official domain in your own address bar. If anyone shows you a "RemitPath" sign-up link anywhere else, treat it as suspicious.
How this affects what we write
A commission never buys a recommendation. We don't rank a provider higher because it pays more, and we don't hide a cheaper option because it pays nothing. Across our guides we repeat the same advice — compare "how much the recipient finally receives," not the headline fee — even when that points you away from a provider that would have earned us a commission. Where a method carries real risk, we say so plainly. Our editorial policy explains the standards we hold ourselves to.
What a commission does not change
- It doesn't change the rate or fee you are charged.
- It doesn't make us an official partner, agent or representative of any provider.
- It doesn't let us register, fund or receive money on your behalf — we never do that.
- It doesn't give us, or anyone, a reason to ask for your password, one-time code, private key or seed phrase.
RemitPath is an independent education site. All fees, rates and offers are whatever each provider shows in real time, and nothing here is investment or legal advice. Whether to use any provider is your decision, to be judged by the law of your own country.
